Zeitenspiegel reporter Rainer Nübel has devoted his time off to writing a stage version of The Count of Monte Cristo. Developed in cooperation with director Barbara Koch, the piece concludes with a debate between Alexandre Dumas and contemporary kibitzers who demand a happy ending.

The play can be seen every Saturday through August 18 at 8:30 p.m. at the Naturtheater Grötzingen.
